Shotz has the latest high performance presses and papers to make sure 'it' happens for you and the environment.
For 20 years the Shotz motto has always been 'efficiency of thinking makes a less wasteful business'. Therefore, when looking for the lowest carbon production presses we naturally chose Xerox above the Indigo press. Our presses use just 2.74kw peak as opposed to the Indigo which needs 18kw. That means on any given day each press saves enough energy to power 6 houses for 24 hours. Digital presses are also waterless. Unlike an equivalent offset press which uses up to 50,000 litres of drinking water per year. Plus 5,000lt of alcohol. That's like pouring 50,000 bottles of wine down the drain and into our oceans. Xeroxes take a large burden off our precious water (and wine) supplies.
Recycling
Recycling is only half the job. We must consider using recycled products to complete the cycle. Traditionally we have thought of recycled paper as grainy and stiff and not quite white. Things have changed.
After a good deal of research we have sourced the best quality ecologically responsible stocks from our suppliers, including carbon neutral, chain of custody, recycled and chlorine free. We can supply recycled products from paper to poster and banner material, and we can ensure you still get a top quality job while minimizing cost to the planet.
To further lessen our carbon footprint, Shotz staff are encouraged to use environmentally friendly commuter transport. Currently 75% of SHOTZ employees bicycle, walk, or take public transport to work.
